BCCS is pleased to announce its annual Conduct-the-Choir Charity Auction. Up for bid are two opportunities to conduct BCCS singing the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah as part of our Christmas concert: once on December 14 in Yardley and once on December 15 in Doylestown. For each concert, 50% of the winning bid will go to a local charity, and 50% will support the mission of BCCS. Winning bidders will conduct the choir in concert and receive a gift baton and a concert photo opportunity. You may submit bids more than once. The highest bid for each concert will automatically be posted to this page, so be sure to keep up to date by checking this page throughout the auction.

All auctions begin November 1, 2007, 10:00 a.m EST. Bids must be confirmed via email before they are accepted. An email requesting confirmation is automatically sent to the bidder when a bid is made. BCCS cannot guarantee that the bidder will receive the confirmation request in a timely fashion, due to the nature of the web. [This isn't e-bay. If you wait until the last minute, delays in e-mail delivery may cause you to miss out!] Once the auction starts, the current confirmed high bid will appear on this page as well as a form for submitting bids. Bidders are responsible for monitoring the bidding activity and will NOT be notified when new bids are placed. All auctions close December 1, 2007, 5:00 p.m. EST. Winning bidders must be able to attend one choir rehearsal prior to the performance, as well as the performance on which they bid. If not, the next-highest bid will be accepted. In the case of multiple bids of the same amount for the same performance, the earliest-received bid will be accepted.
