Building on the excitement of the Choral Society's sold-out concerts of music from Duke Ellington's Sacred Concerts, the Choral Society invites DeVonne Gardner, Eric Mintel, and the Second Baptist Church of Doylestown Mass Choir back for another inspiring program of sacred jazz by Ellington and others who followed him in writing sacred jazz for large choirs. The program will include the Philadelphia area premier of three movements from Carl MaultsBy's sacred jazz requiem Strong and Graceful Oaks .
