Rick Rosen is the owner of the Rick Rosen Marketing Group, a full service marketing and consulting agency, with a wide range of clients in the musical instrument, music production, computer, and related industries. Rick is a member of NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants), AES (Audio Engineering Society) and Chorus America. In addition to extensive independent sales and marketing consulting experience, Rick has held in-house marketing positions with several musical instrument manufacturing and distribution companies, including Thinkware, TOA Electronics, DiMarzio MIP, Inc., and MXR Innovations.
Rick currently sings with the Bucks County Choral Society and the Chamber Singers of the Bucks County Choral Society. He is also the founder and co-conductor of male a cappella group, Cordus Mundi. Rick serves as Minister of Music at Church of the Messiah, Gwynedd, PA, where he conducts chancel, junior, and bell choirs, gives guitar lessons, provides Sunday School and Vacation Bible School music, promotes concerts and special musical events, and otherwise oversees the musical aspects of worship at the church.
Prior to returning to Pennsylvania in 2003, Rick was Director of Music at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Burlingame, CA., where he conducted choirs, gave guitar lessons and produced the Choral Music in Depth and Summer Sings programs, as well as the St. Paul's Presents concert series. Highlights of Rick's California vocal performance career include co-founding and administrating the original San Francisco-based version of Cordus Mundi, and an extended singing stint with the San Francisco Concert Chorale, where he served as men's section leader for five years and president of the executive committee for three years. During Rick's tenure as SFCC president, the group recorded two CDs, and toured Mexico and France.
Rick has an Associate of Arts degree from Bucks County Community College, Newtown, PA, with additional study at Marlboro College, Marlboro, VT. His teachers include Rene Clausen, Anton Armstrong, John Emory Bush, and Patricia Hennings.
