Janet Fryling was a member of the Bucks County Choral Society under the late Elma Heckler from 1984-1994, and rejoined under the direction of Thomas Lloyd in 2001. As a member of BCCS, she has served both within the soprano section as well as soprano soloist on numerous occasions. In addition, she sings in the Doylestown Presbyterian Church choir, and has maintained a private voice studio for emerging young singers for over 30 years. Her two grown children are professional musicians in the New York Metropolitan area. Janet resides in Dublin with her husband David.

Since retiring as choral director at Plumstead Christian School, Janet has been working as a Special Education Teaching Assistant at South Middle School in the Pennridge School District. Mrs. Fryling holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Houghton College, and has taught music education at all levels in both public and private schools as well as the School for the Blind in Batavia, NY.
