Jason Gersh joined the Bucks County Choral Society in 2007 as a bass-baritone, and is also a recent recruit to the choir Cordus Mundi. He holds a BA in Music from Haverford College and a Ph.D. in Musicology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he wrote a dissertation on text-setting in the motets of William Byrd. Jason works as Senior Financial Analyst for the Drexel University Office of the Provost, where he manages faculty appointments, budgetary reports, and data analysis. In addition to his day job at Drexel, he periodically moonlights as a freelance musicologist and music theorist.
Originally hailing from the state of Delaware, Jason resides in Newtown, PA with his wife Katie.
