Choral Society undaunted by Hurricane Ida, produces widely viewed concert video

The Choral Society had been planning all summer for its return to live performance. A free outdoor concert on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in Doylestown’s Central Park - Bucks County’s Own: Sondheim and Hammerstein - was to be the culmination of the park’s summer concert series. Music had been distributed. A new silicone mask brace had been found to make singing with a mask much easier. Three rehearsals the week before the concert had been fun, exciting, and productive. 2021 Voices of the Future Finals Master Class GOES AHEAD on ZOOM!

Neshaminy High School senior Cody Lewandowski was selected as the winner of this year’s Voices of the Future competition following a master class that took place on Zoom and was live-streamed to our audiences over Youtube. Heritage chorale and Choral Society together on WHYY-TV12

The Choral Society and Philadelphia Heritage Chorale produced a video entitled Christmas Together in a Time of Isolation which was aired on WHYY-TV12 December 23 and 24, 2020 and seen by thousands of viewers throughout the Delaware Valley. One viewer (not in the choir) said after watching, “Singing has always been a big part of my life. Tonight I realized how important it is for the human spirit.” read more…
