Led by a professional music staff of seven, the Choral Society performs an annual series of four varied programs drawing on an unusually broad range of repertoire in partnership with the leading professional orchestras, chamber ensembles and soloists in our region.

Whether it is a performance of large-scale masterworks like the Brahms Requiem or Elgar’s The Apostles with Symphony in C, Handel’s Israel in Egypt with Tempesta di Mare, our beloved annual Christmas programs, sacred jazz and Spirituals with DeVonne Gardner, Ruth Naomi Floyd, and Jay Fluellen, opera with soloists from the Academy of Vocal Arts, or musical theater with our young Voices of the Future finalists, audiences know to expect a performance that will linger in their memory long after.

The Choral Society also shares their love of singing with our “extended family” through two important outreach programs: Singing for Seniors – leading senior singers and choirs as they "find their voices" through regular singing workshops and festivals, and  Voices of the Future – competitive scholarships, public master classes, and solo performance opportunities for our most talented young singers.
